The “Harry Potter” and James Bond blockbusters are the two towers dominating overseas wickets — at least until that other pic with “Two Towers” in the title starts its global rollout in a few days.

“Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” unlocked an estimated $43.6 million in 45 countries over the weekend, propelling the foreign cume to $351.4 million.

Fantasy/adventure pic set an industry opening weekend in South Korea, nabbing roughly $4.3 million and beating the original by 23%.

In France, the Chris Columbus-helmed epic easily retained pole position, falling by a reasonable 37% for an estimated $7.7 million (3% ahead of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”), upping its 12-day market total to a socko $23 million.

Its stellar cumes include Japan’s $69.4 million through its fourth orbit; the U.K.’s $69.3 million and Germany’s $49.2 million after its fifth; and Spain’s $15.4 million and Australia’s $12.9 million through its third.

“Die Another Day” rustled up an estimated $20 million, hoisting cume to $120.4 million. The new 007 set new benchmarks for Bond bows in Australia (capturing $2.7 million on 323, Fox’s fourth highest debut locally and the biggest for a non-holiday weekend); and in Thailand ($1.17 million on 250, a Fox record and the industry’s fourth largest); and Mexico ($1.68 million on 512).

The Pierce Brosnan/Halle Berry starrer has raked in $42.5 million in the U.K., $22 million in Germany, $17.3 million in France and $7.7 million in Spain.

Fox Intl. theatrical president Scott Neeson believes “Day” is on track to gross at least $250 million abroad.

In Japan, “Minority Report” abated by a mere 19%, grabbing $3.1 million at the weekend and a luminous $13.3 million in nine days. Estimated cume hit $190 million.

Entering its last major market, “Road to Perdition” stole a solid $1 million on 245 in Italy.
